Every household with at least one Singapore citizen got two tranches of CDC vouchers in 2026. The S$300 released on 2 January expires on 31 December 2026. The S$500 released on 11 June, brought forward from January 2027, can be used until 31 December 2027. Each tranche is split equally between participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and participating supermarkets. One person claims for the household at go.gov.sg/cdcv with Singpass.

The January S$300 completed the S$800 announced at Budget 2025. The S$500 was announced at Budget 2026 for January 2027, then brought forward to June 2026 because of cost-of-living worries linked to the situation in the Middle East.

How do I claim them?

One member of the household logs in at go.gov.sg/cdcv with Singpass and claims for everyone. A gov.sg SMS then sends a link to the registered mobile number, which can be shared with the rest of the family. Community clubs have helpers for anyone who needs assistance.

Where can I spend them?

The supermarket half works at participating chains, including FairPrice, Sheng Siong and Prime, and some neighbourhood supermarkets. The other half is for participating hawkers and heartland merchants, from coffee shops to neighbourhood stores. At checkout, you generate a QR code on your phone for the shop to scan.

The WahLiao Verdict

Spend the January S$300 first, because it expires on 31 December. The heartland half is the one people forget: use it at your usual hawker for everyday meals rather than leaving it to lapse.
