PITBULL II aka. THE BOSS!

Yes, it is really $850. Sorry but these Oakley’s are made to cost an arm and a leg. Those people that are put off by the price, shimmy over to the other pages that I got and pick up any of the other Oakley’s because they do almost the same things that PitBoss II does, just with a price that’s easier to swallow and pleases the missus slightly more. Yes, that nod of approval when you go, its not so expensive…not like $850 PitBosses so relax! Yes, PitBoss II is created so that you can tell the missus you didn’t splurge, if you are the kind of guy that does the “life is a relative kinda thing.”

So…why so expensive? Because Oakley stuck every technology available  into these puppies and over engineered them. Its so meticulously made that I have a feeling even aliens might take a cosmic drive over here just to pick up some of these. Hell, we might turn into a destination for cosmic dwellers looking for some ocular protection, assuming they have eyes like we do. Failing which, we are then the only beneficiaries of these beauties, and rightly so, of the madness that has been bestowed on PitBoss II.

Flipping through the statistics, it looks like documentation from a pharmaceutical company trying to approve its drug with the FDA. My god, its so long, I don’t know where to start. I’ve cut and pasted from Oakley.com at the bottom for those anal retentive personalities in you, because if you must know and are till reading, then PitBoss II is the desire you seek. That need to know how far the humans can go. That desire to step one step further than where we have been. The perfectionists and the ones that only wants the best. Yes. U. The one that’s still reading. Because the rest has shimmied over to the other pages, remember?

Oh and by the way, Oakley says these sunglasses tells the world that you have arrived. Sunglasses $850. Telling the world you have arrived, priceless…

Pit Boss II is a showcase for some of the finest technologies ever utilized in sunglasses. The titanium plating is honed by Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machining with tolerances of precision within two thousandths of an inch. Hexalobular bolts secure the plates for high velocity impact protection, and a comfortable Three-Point Fit keeps the lenses in precise optical alignment. When you gaze through those lenses, you’ll forget every notion you have about sunglasses.

Even with the 8.75 base lens curvature that maximizes peripheral vision and side protection against sun, wind and impact, you’ll experience razor-sharp clarity at every angle of view because the technologies of HDO include XYZ Optics®. Oakley HDPolarized lenses filter out 99% of reflected glare, and we added Anti-Reflective (AR) coating on the backside. The pure Plutonite® lenses filter out 100% of all UV while optimizing impact resistance.

All three renditions feature Iridium® lens coating for balanced light transmission and even more glare reduction.
