ActiveSG membership is free for Singapore citizens and PRs and comes with S$100 of credits. You can spend them on pool and gym entry, court bookings and classes. Gym entry is S$2.50 for adults and S$1.50 for students and seniors. Pool entry is about S$1 to S$2, and an unlimited monthly swim pass costs S$10 for adults. One thing to act on now: credits are valid until 31 December 2026, and they roll over into 2027 only if you make at least one booking in 2026.

Who can join, and how?
Citizens and PRs sign up on MyActiveSG+ with Singpass. If you don’t have Singpass, you can register at the Guest Services Office of any ActiveSG sports centre or swimming complex, bringing a student pass or birth certificate. Membership is for life. Children under 15 don’t have Singpass, so parents link their accounts to their own and use the children’s credits from there.
What does it cost?
| Item | Adult (18–54) | Student / senior (55+) |
|---|---|---|
| Gym, single entry | S$2.50 | S$1.50 |
| Gym, monthly peak pass | S$30 | S$18 |
| Gym, monthly off-peak pass (weekdays before 4pm) | S$15 | S$9 |
| Pool, single entry | About S$1–2 | Less |
| MyActiveSWIM monthly pass | S$10 | S$5 (children and seniors) |
The monthly swim pass gives unlimited entry to every ActiveSG pool. It’s worth it if you swim more than about ten times a month.
How do I book a court?
On MyActiveSG+. Credits can pay for badminton courts, including school halls opened to the public under the Dual-Use Scheme, as well as tennis, squash and table tennis at ActiveSG centres.
What else do credits cover?
Classes and programmes listed on MyActiveSG+, such as ActiveSG Academies and Clubs for children, school-holiday programmes, dance fitness and Active Health programmes for adults and seniors.
Don’t lose your credits
As part of SG60, all ActiveSG credits were extended to 31 December 2026. To roll whatever is left into 2027, make at least one successful booking of a programme or facility in 2026, even a free one.
The WahLiao Verdict
Make one booking before 31 December so your credits carry over. After that, swim for about a dollar and lift for S$2.50: few cities make staying fit this cheap.
