SG Culture Pass Explained: What It Covers and How to Spend It

Every Singapore citizen aged 18 and above in 2025 has S$100 of SG Culture Pass credits, usable from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028. The credits pay for tickets to eligible local arts and heritage programmes, such as performances, exhibitions, tours and workshops, bought through authorised ticketing partners. You log in with Singpass, pick an event, and choose SG Culture Pass as your payment method at checkout.

Who qualifies?

Singapore citizens born on or before 31 December 2007 who were citizens as of 31 December 2024. PRs and long-term pass holders don’t qualify.

What can I spend it on?

Tickets to eligible local arts and heritage programmes, bought through the authorised ticketing partners. That includes concerts, theatre, exhibitions, heritage tours, creative workshops and cultural trails. Examples include National Gallery Singapore’s back-of-house tour of the former Supreme Court, and Singapore Chinese Orchestra concerts. The event must take place on or before 31 December 2028.

What can’t I spend it on?

Online-only events, food-focused experiences and merchandise. Eligible programmes need a mostly local creative team.

How do I use it?

  1. Go to the SG Culture Pass website and log in with Singpass to set up your profile.
  2. Browse the eligible events and click through to the ticketing partner.
  3. At checkout, choose SG Culture Pass credits and log in with Singpass again.
  4. If the tickets cost more than your balance, pay the rest another way.

You can check your balance and transaction history on the SG Culture Pass website at any time.

Watch out for scams

The credits are only accessed through your own Singpass on the official site. Nobody will text you a link to claim them or ask for your banking details.

Spend it on something you wouldn’t otherwise buy: a local play, a heritage tour, a behind-the-scenes visit. And spend it before 2028 gets busy, because unused credits simply expire.

Can PRs use the SG Culture Pass?

No. It’s for Singapore citizens only.

Can I buy tickets for other people?

Yes, as long as your balance covers the cost.

Can someone else claim my credits for me?

No. They can only be accessed through your own Singpass account.

Does it work at museums?

On eligible paid programmes, yes. Permanent galleries are already free for citizens.
