Three things decide what you pay at a Singapore attraction: whether you live here, where you buy, and which day you go. At Mandai, the free WildPass gives local residents cheaper single-attraction tickets online. A S$50 adult ticket to the Singapore Zoo or Bird Paradise drops to S$44.10 on a weekday and S$46.55 at the weekend, and seniors pay S$20. Gardens by the Bay and the National Gallery also charge residents less. Weekdays are almost always cheaper than weekends.

What is WildPass?

A free digital membership from Mandai Wildlife Reserve for local residents. You register once with Singpass and get a digital card. On top of cheaper admission, it gives 10 per cent off selected food, retail and wildlife experiences, and free entry to the Mandai Gallery with any admission ticket. Mandai’s pages describe eligibility in slightly different terms, so check the current terms when you sign up.

How much does it save?

Here are Mandai’s published WildPass rates for the Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise:

The weekday discount (10 per cent) is double the weekend one (5 per cent), so the cheapest visit is a weekday with WildPass, booked online.

Why buy online?

Because that’s where the WildPass rates apply: they’re for single-attraction tickets bought online. The Zoo, River Wonders and Bird Paradise ask you to choose a date in advance, and the Night Safari also asks for a time slot.

Other resident rates

Gardens by the Bay and the National Gallery also price by residency. At the Gardens, residents pay S$12 for the Flower Dome alone and S$34 for both conservatories, against S$46 standard. The National Gallery is free for Singaporeans and PRs. The Diary hub keeps these prices checked.

Watch for promotions

Mandai runs time-limited deals for local residents; until 5 July 2026, for example, it offered up to 35 per cent off admission to all its attractions. Check the operator’s site before you pay.

What about resold tickets?

Tickets resold on marketplaces are often tied to a fixed date and can’t be refunded or changed. Buy from the operator or an authorised seller.

If you live here, sign up for WildPass before you buy anything at Mandai, go on a weekday, buy online, and use your birthday week. The best-value ticket is the one you didn’t buy at the gate on a Saturday.

Can visitors get WildPass?

No. It’s for Singapore residents only.

How does the birthday entry work?

WildPass holders get free admission to one park, among Bird Paradise, Rainforest Wild ASIA, River Wonders and the Singapore Zoo, in the seven days from their birthday. They need to come with one paying adult and show the digital card at the ticketing booth.

Do seniors need WildPass?

The resident senior rate for those 60 and over is a flat S$20 at the Zoo and Bird Paradise.

Does WildPass cover the Night Safari?
