Universal Studios Singapore (USS) on Sentosa sells dated one-day tickets, and as of October 2026 Sentosa’s official site lists them from $83, with children under four admitted free. Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), which runs the park, publishes the latest price for each date on its booking page, so what you pay depends on the day you pick. To skip queues, you can add Universal Express from $50, which lets you skip the line once at participating rides and shows; it is dated and can only be bought after a park ticket is in your cart. Opening hours also vary by date, so check the park calendar before you go. The best days are weekdays outside school and public holidays.

A day at USS is a joyful splurge, and a little planning keeps it joyful. Here is how the tickets work and when to go.

Quick facts

  • Tickets: dated, from $83 according to Sentosa’s official site (as of October 2026).
  • Children under four: free.
  • Universal Express: from $50; skip the queue once at participating rides and shows; dated to your visit.
  • Express can only be added after a park ticket is in your cart.
  • Opening hours vary by date: check the calendar on RWS’s site.
  • Address: 8 Sentosa Gateway, Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa.

How does USS pricing work?

USS prices tickets for a specific date. RWS’s own pages say the latest price is on the booking page, which means the figure you see for a quiet weekday may differ from a school-holiday Saturday. Child, senior and any resident rates, and their age bands, are set out on that booking page; check them there rather than relying on older blog posts.

Seasonal events, such as Halloween Horror Nights in the years it runs, are ticketed separately from day admission. Our guide to resident rates and online discounts explains how attraction pricing works in Singapore more broadly.

A worked example: two adults with Express

Using only the lowest advertised prices, so your date may cost more:

  1. Two tickets from $83 each: 2 × $83 = $166.
  2. Two Universal Express passes from $50 each: 2 × $50 = $100.
  3. Minimum total: $166 + $100 = $266, before food, drinks, lockers and getting to Sentosa.
  4. Bring a three-year-old? Under-fours go free, so the total stays the same.

When are the best days to go, and is Express worth it?

  1. Pick a weekday in school term. Avoid the June and year-end school holidays and long weekends; our school holidays 2027 and public holidays 2027 guides list the dates.
  2. Arrive before opening and head to the most popular rides first, while queues are shortest.
  3. Buy Express for busy days, when it can save hours. On a quiet weekday you may not need it.
  4. Check the weather. Outdoor rides can pause in thunderstorms; our weather by month guide helps.
  5. Book online in advance for your date, and read the terms on changes and refunds.

Getting there is part of the plan: our guide to getting into Sentosa compares the Boardwalk, monorail, bus, car and cable car.

The WahLiao Verdict

Go on a term-time weekday, book your dated ticket online, arrive before the gates open and save Universal Express for the days when crowds are unavoidable. Budget at least $83 a head before food and extras, and check the booking page for your exact date, because the price is set by the calendar. A well-timed weekday visit gives you more rides for the same ticket, and a much happier family.
