There are three ways into a lounge at Changi. Airline lounges, such as Singapore Airlines’ SilverKris lounges, admit you by ticket class or frequent-flyer status. Independent lounges run by operators such as SATS, Plaza Premium, Marhaba and Ambassador Transit admit Priority Pass members and paying walk-ins. As of October 2026, Priority Pass lists lounges in Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4, plus the Changi Lounge at Jewel, which sits landside, before immigration. Transit-area lounges need a same-day boarding pass, so you use the one in the terminal you fly from. Many Singapore credit cards include Priority Pass, but with a set number of free visits; extra visits and guests are usually charged.

A shower, a proper coffee and a quiet seat before a red-eye can change the whole trip. Here is how to work out which door is open to you.

Quick facts

  • Airline lounges: entry by premium ticket or elite status with that airline or its alliance.
  • Priority Pass: covers independent lounges in every Changi terminal, as listed in October 2026.
  • Pay-per-use: several independent lounges sell entry, usually for a set number of hours.
  • Landside option: the Changi Lounge at Jewel, before immigration, open 6am to 10pm per Priority Pass.
  • Boarding pass: transit-area lounges require a same-day boarding pass from that terminal.
  • Book ahead: online booking can be cheaper than walk-in and secures a place at busy times.

Priority Pass lounges at Changi, by terminal

This is the line-up Priority Pass lists for Changi as of October 2026. Lounges move and renovate, so check the Priority Pass app on the day.

WhereLounges listed by Priority Pass
Terminal 1Plaza Premium Lounge, Marhaba Lounge, SATS Premier Lounge, Ambassador Transit Lounge
Terminal 2SATS Premier Lounge, Marhaba Lounge, Ambassador Transit Lounge
Terminal 3SATS Premier Lounge, Marhaba Lounge, Ambassador Transit Lounge

Priority Pass also lists some restaurants and spas at Changi. What you get at those differs from a lounge visit, so read the conditions in the app before you sit down.

Paying for a lounge

Walk-in prices vary with demand and the length of stay. A Wise survey published in August 2025 found three-hour walk-in rates at several Changi lounges of around S$50 to S$55, with the landside Jewel lounge from about S$28. Treat these as a guide only and check the operator’s own site, where booking online is often cheaper.

  1. Check your terminal on your booking.
  2. Check your cards: open your bank’s card benefits page to see whether Priority Pass or another lounge programme is included and how many visits remain.
  3. Book online if paying, especially for late-night departures, when lounges fill up.
  4. Clear immigration, then follow the lounge signs in the transit area. Bring your boarding pass and passport.
  5. Watch the time limit; paid and Priority Pass visits are often capped at a few hours.

A worked example

Farah and her husband fly economy from Terminal 1 late at night. Her credit card gives her two free Priority Pass visits a year; her husband has no pass. Her own entry uses one free visit. Her husband counts as a guest, and the guest fee is set by her card and plan, so she checks the card’s terms before they go. If the guest fee is close to a paid walk-in rate, booking him online through the lounge operator may work out the same or cheaper. Either way, they arrive with their T1 boarding passes in hand.

The WahLiao Verdict

Before you pay for anything, check your credit cards: plenty of Singaporeans already hold Priority Pass and never use it. If you do need to pay, book online for the terminal you actually fly from, and only buy a lounge when you have at least two hours to enjoy it. For short waits, Changi’s own free gardens and quiet zones are a fine lounge in themselves.

Questions people ask

Can I use a lounge in a different terminal?

Generally you use lounges in the terminal you depart from, as transit-area access follows your boarding pass and gate.

Is there a lounge I can use when I arrive?

Yes. The Changi Lounge at Jewel is landside, so arriving passengers and people waiting to check in can use it, with Priority Pass or paid entry.

Does Priority Pass get me into SilverKris lounges?

No. SilverKris lounges are Singapore Airlines’ own lounges, entered by ticket class or qualifying status, not by Priority Pass.

Can I bring my children in?

Usually, but children often count as guests. Check your plan’s guest rules or the lounge operator’s child pricing before you go.
