The WahLiao Price Index is a proposed quarterly comparison of a defined basket of Singapore costs. The draft below contains 23 items. It has not yet published a measured index or a priced first edition. Before results are released, the quantities, collection dates, sources, replacement rules and treatment of unlike units must be stated. The purpose is to make everyday costs understandable alongside the official statistics.
