On WahLiao, Super Intelligence means the whole family of tools the rest of the world calls AI, or artificial intelligence: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, the image makers and voice tools, and the assistants tucked inside phones, search engines and office software. It is a house name, chosen for clarity. It does not mean we think these tools are smarter than you, and it is not a claim that machines have overtaken people.
Words shape expectations. Call a tool “artificial” and people underrate it; call it a genius and they trust it too much. Super Intelligence is our attempt at the honest middle: a name big enough for what the best tools can now do, used by a publication that will keep telling you exactly where they fall short.

Why not just say AI?
Because the two letters have stretched until they mean almost nothing. The same label now covers a spam filter, a camera that brightens your photos, a rice cooker with a clever mode and a chatbot that can draft a tenancy letter in seconds. When everything is AI, the word stops helping you choose.
“Artificial” is the other problem. It suggests fake, like artificial flowers. The best tools today are not fake in that sense: they produce real drafts, real translations and real code that people use at work every day. What they lack is judgment, and that is a different warning from “artificial”.
What Super Intelligence is not
It is not superintelligence in the research sense. In technology and philosophy, that single word describes a system far more capable than people at nearly everything, and it remains hypothetical. It is not a mind that knows when it is wrong. The tools predict plausible answers rather than look up true ones, which is why how Super Intelligence works spends time on their mistakes.
Singapore’s Government strikes the same balance. In the Budget 2026 statement, the Prime Minister described AI as “a powerful tool — but it is still a tool”, one that must serve the country and its people. That is the spirit of the name here: powerful, useful, and still a tool.
