ArtScience Museum, the lotus-shaped building at Marina Bay Sands (6 Bayfront Avenue), is open daily from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm. Walking into the museum is free; you pay for each exhibition. Its long-running highlight, teamLab’s Future World, costs from S$28 for Singapore resident adults (concession from S$22) and from S$35 for tourists (concession from S$29), as of October 2026. Tickets are timed, so booking online is wise. In autumn 2026 the line-up also includes Into the Ocean: Journey Beneath (until 1 November 2026) and In the Ether (3 October to 6 December 2026), with More than Human opening on 28 November 2026.
It is one of the happiest rainy-day plans in the city, and one that children and grown-ups enjoy in equal measure. Here’s what is on and what it costs.

Inside Future World
Future World is split into two zones. City in Nature has flowing digital flowers and water, and pieces where children’s coloured drawings are scanned and come alive on the walls. Exploring New Frontiers holds the famous Crystal Universe, a room of shimmering hanging lights, plus Sketch Umwelt World, Light Sculpture with Paper Airplane and Aerial Climbing through a Flock of Colored Birds. Strollers are not permitted inside, so bring a carrier for small babies.
Future World ticket prices
| Ticket | Singapore resident | Tourist |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | From S$28 | From S$35 |
| Concession | From S$22 | From S$29 |
Prices are “from” rates and can change with date and time slot. The museum says persons with disabilities and one accompanying caregiver can buy concession tickets; see the booking page for the other groups that qualify and for the proof needed for resident rates.
Worked example
- Two resident adults on a Saturday at the “from” price: 2 × S$28 = S$56.
- The same two adults with two children under 12 on a regular Friday under Family Fridays: the children enter free with the adult tickets, so it is still S$56, if the offer applies to your chosen exhibition.
- Two tourist adults: 2 × S$35 = S$70.
How to plan your visit
- Book a timed slot on the official ArtScience Museum ticket page.
- Go at 9am or after 3pm on weekdays for thinner crowds.
- Allow about an hour or more for Future World; add time for any second exhibition.
- Use Bayfront MRT and follow the signs through the mall to the museum.
- Stay for the free light and water show at the Event Plaza in the evening.
The WahLiao Verdict
If you have children under 12, go on a regular Friday and use Family Fridays: it is the single biggest saving on offer. Book online for a morning slot, start with Crystal Universe before it fills, and check whether one of the temporary exhibitions is worth adding rather than buying everything at once. Residents should always pick the resident rate and bring proof.
