The Singapore Oceanarium is Resorts World Sentosa’s aquarium, which opened on 24 July 2025 in place of the old S.E.A. Aquarium, at 24 Sentosa Gateway. It tells the story of the ocean through 22 zones grouped into six chapters, from the evolution of fish to Singapore’s own coast, the Open Ocean habitat with sharks and manta rays, the deep sea and a closing conservation gallery. As of October 2026, tickets start from S$55 for adults (13 to 59) and from S$43 for children aged 4 to 12 and seniors aged 60 and above. Opening hours vary by day, so check the official calendar before you go.
Few places in Singapore make children go quiet quite like a wall of blue water with a manta ray gliding past. Here’s what you’ll find, and how to keep the bill sensible.

| In the Beginning | The evolutionary story of fish and ancient waters |
| At the Surface | Singapore’s coastal marine life, with interactive habitats |
| Sunlight | Shallow seas and coral gardens, with sharks, manta rays and the huge Open Ocean habitat |
| Into the Deep | Seafloor animals adapted to darkness and pressure |
| The Abyss | Deep-sea life; listed by RWS as closed for maintenance as of October 2026 |
| A New Horizon | Conservation and what visitors can do for the ocean |
Other highlights include sea jellies, Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, the Jewel of Muscat (a replica of a 9th-century dhow) with the Pier Adventure suspended web for climbers, daily feeding sessions and keeper talks. Note that the official site says the Marine Mammal Habitat viewing panel is temporarily closed until further notice, so dolphin viewing may be limited.
Ticket prices and add-ons
| Ticket or experience | Price as listed |

| Child (4 to 12) | From S$43 |
| Senior (60 and above) | From S$43 |

“From” prices can rise on busy dates. RWS also sells multi-attraction passes with Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark, and six-month season passes. Add-on prices quoted from the 2025 launch may have changed, so confirm on the booking page.
Worked example: a family of four
Two adults and two children aged 4 to 12 at the “from” prices: 2 × S$55 = S$110, plus 2 × S$43 = S$86, making S$196. Add Sentosa transport and lunch on top. If you plan to visit Universal Studios on the same trip, price a multi-attraction pass before buying separate tickets.
How to plan the visit
- Check the operating-hours calendar on the Singapore Oceanarium site; it lists closures and early closings by date.
- Buy online in advance, especially for weekends and school holidays, when timed entry applies.
- Look up the day’s feeding and talk times so you reach the Open Ocean habitat at the right moment.
- Get to Resorts World Sentosa by the Sentosa Express, bus, car or the Sentosa Boardwalk.
The WahLiao Verdict
Book online for a weekday morning, check the calendar for closures, and make the Open Ocean habitat your unhurried centrepiece. Skip the premium add-ons on a first visit; the main route is the show. If you are doing Universal Studios too, price a combined pass first, and if you live here and love sea creatures, compare a season pass against two single visits.
Questions people ask
Is the Singapore Oceanarium the same as S.E.A. Aquarium?
It replaced it. The Singapore Oceanarium opened at Resorts World Sentosa on 24 July 2025 as a new, larger attraction with a storytelling layout.
How much is a ticket?
From S$55 for adults and from S$43 for children aged 4 to 12 and seniors aged 60 and above, as of October 2026.
Can I see the dolphins?
The Oceanarium has Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins and sells Dolphin Moments interactions, but its site says the Marine Mammal Habitat viewing panel is temporarily closed. Check before you go if dolphins are the main draw.
How long does a visit take?
RWS does not publish a set time. Most families will want a few hours to walk the 22 zones at a gentle pace and catch a feeding session.
