Every major Super Intelligence (AI) tool has a free plan in Singapore, and for most people that is enough. If you pay, the main premium plans cost roughly S$25 to S$30 a month: Google AI Pro and Microsoft 365 Premium are both S$28.99, while ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro are priced at US$20, with GST added. Cheaper tiers start at S$6.98 for Google AI Plus, and plans for heavy users run into the hundreds. Singapore Citizens can also get six months of a premium plan free through SkillsFuture.

What the free plans give you
Free plans are genuinely useful. You can chat, ask questions, draft and summarise, and on most of them search the web and upload a file or photo. What you give up is volume and access to the strongest models: free plans have usage limits that reset after a few hours, and some providers show advertising on free tiers in some markets.
What paying buys
Paid plans mostly buy three things: more use before you hit a limit, access to the most capable models, and extra features such as long research reports, bigger documents, image and video generation, and assistants inside email and documents. The premium tiers at around S$29 a month are where most individuals land. The heavy-use plans, from about S$140 a month, are designed for people who work with the tools all day, such as programmers and researchers.
Singapore dollars, US dollars and GST
Google and Microsoft publish Singapore-dollar prices. OpenAI and Anthropic set their plans in US dollars, and Anthropic’s pricing page notes that its prices exclude tax. Under IRAS’s rules for overseas digital services, GST at 9% applies when the overseas provider is GST-registered in Singapore, which large providers generally must be. Your bank may also add a foreign-currency fee to a US-dollar bill. As a rough guide, ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro at US$20 works out at about S$28 a month with GST, depending on the exchange rate.
Subscriptions bought inside an app through Apple’s App Store or Google Play are priced separately in Singapore dollars and can differ from the website price, so compare before you tap.
Paying yearly, and cancelling
Paying yearly saves money on some plans. Claude Pro is US$17 a month billed yearly instead of US$20 monthly, and Microsoft 365 Premium is S$289.99 a year instead of S$28.99 a month. OpenAI bills its individual ChatGPT plans monthly. Most plans renew automatically until you cancel, and cancelling usually keeps your access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Sharing a plan with family
Microsoft 365 Family, at S$18.99 a month, and Microsoft 365 Premium can be shared with up to six people, but Microsoft excludes the AI features from that sharing. Chatbot plans from the other providers are generally for one person each.
The free route: SkillsFuture’s AI Subscription
Since 16 September 2026, Singapore Citizens aged 18 and above who attend an eligible SkillsFuture AI course can redeem one free six-month premium subscription. How to choose
Spend a week with two free tools on real tasks from your own life: a letter, a summary of a long PDF, a plan for a family weekend. Pay only when one of them keeps running out, and pick the one whose answers you trusted more. If you already pay for Google storage or Microsoft Office, their premium plans fold Super Intelligence into apps you use anyway.
